Living in the Far North where fishing, diving and adventures is “a way of life”, my connection and passion for the ocean has moulded me to become who I am today. I was lucky enough to gain sponsorships at a relatively young age, which has been a good challenge through my teenage years!
Clothing is a big part of fishing, so here are my Five Salty Essentials while out on the water.
01. VOYAGER DUFFLE 2.0
The Voyager Duffle 2.0 is another great all round bag. From travelling to big missions this bag is tough, durable and can handle being thrown around. Thick, durable material means ripping is not an option. I take this bag everywhere and would not go anywhere without it!
02. GALLEY COOLER DRY BAG
The Galley Cooler is basically a portable chilly bin that goes over your shoulder! These flexible portable bags are lined with insulated and puncture proof lining, meaning ice and beers stay cold all day! With a detachable shoulder strap, this allows you to carry it by a handle once folded up, perfect for party’s or events. I love mine and would highly recommend!
03. Bob Marley and The Wailers
Definitely have always been a fan of Bob's music on the boat, great vibey songs makes for an all-round good vibe. Never leave without a speaker or something to jam these songs!
04. HARBOURAGE JACKET 2.0
As most of my fishing has been out of a 4 metre tiller steer, I am exposed to all conditions. Hence why a good quality jacket is essential. The Harbourage Jacket 2.0 is not only completely waterproof it's totally breathable. Have found the amount of pockets are critical especially on a small boat. I also like the magnetic closing pocket feature as well.
05. COASTAL CAST VOLLEY SHORTS
I think being comfortable makes fishing a lot more enjoyable. Being able to move freely is a key thing as well! These shorts have hit the nail right on the head! Lots of moving distance especially around the crotch area. Being quick dry is a must when fishing too!
