Recently we caught up with Peter Lennon from Display Nest Ltd. We have known Peter for a few years now and first worked with him and his son Sam Lennon on our very first retail store the FISHERMAN’S DEN.

Peter is an extremely talented woodworker and his passion began in the 70s working for the famous NZ boat building company Salthouse Boat Builders. After the introduction of fibreglass for large scale sail and motor boats, he moved on and found himself in Australia surfing and fishing the East Coast and building a house or two along the way.

In the 80s he returned to NZ and set up a small workshop out in Kelston, West Auckland where he is still based today working on everything from high-end kitchens to rustic style wood furniture and store fit-outs.

We are not only inspired by Peter’s talent in the workshop but also by his lifestyle; He has excellent taste in classic heritage menswear and backs it up by living the fishing and surfing lifestyle while cruising in his vintage Audi Station wagon.
