Just Another Fisherman is back for the second annual ~ THE SALTY DAD ~ Father’s Day competition.
We are taking the time to celebrate all the Dads out there who have instilled in us a love for the outdoors, let us in on their secret spots and unique tricks, and who we have made memories with to cherish forever.
To show your dad how much you appreciate him for teaching you the ropes and taking you fishing over the years, enter him into the Just Another Fisherman SALTY DAD competition to win one of the three prizes below:

Vote for your favourite entry from our Salty Dad gallery. Voters will be looking for the best combination of photo and brief story behind which Salty Dad is the best candidate. *Please note we don't count self-selected votes.
Best Snap Award ~ $500 JAF Voucher
Show us your Salty Dad enjoying himself in the elements. This snap will need a brief description of why he deserves to win.
Best Yarn Award ~ Al Brown Prize Pack
Our good friend Al Brown will be awarding a special culinary prize pack to a story with great taste... so let us know why you are so grateful for the times together with your Salty Dad. This brief tale can be inspiring, funny, heartfelt and/or revealing!
The Just Another Fisherman Salty Dad gallery is updated as the entries come in so keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram to stay in the loop and make sure you cast your vote for your favourite entry.
Competition runs from the 14th - 29th August. Winners will be announced on the 30th August and prizes sent out in time for Father Day.
